Apartment of 174.9 sq.m. in the "Tribeca" residential complex. Moscow

the clients A young, vibrant couple with two teenage children. The husband is a businessman, and his wife is a TV presenter, fashion historian, and the founder of the Bogda Nova fashion brand.
The task was to, on the one hand, emphasize the individuality of each family member, and on the other, visually "unite the family" and make the home a place of power.

As one of the design solutions, we offered the clients a family collection of ceramic tiles, created on the principle of the flagship Reda collection - "Soviet Sports". (In "Soviet Sports" there are 5 pairs of animals and sports that combine with each other, forming ironic and fantastic characters). Thus, in the "family" collection, there appeared a dolphin-surfer (TV area in the living room), a mermaid (guest bathroom), and unicorn princesses (children's bathroom).
kitchen-living room
The "Tribeca" complex is the result of the reconstruction of the former Kalmykov Calculating and Analytical Machines Factory. We got an industrial loft, in which a cantilever floor and a living room with two-level lighting are comfortably integrated.

The first floor is the kitchen and living room area with a second light, a guest room and guest bathroom, the path to which leads through the laundry room.
Design features and USP. Light, but not bright. Functional and conceptual.
The design language of Art Group is bright interiors, we love color and eclecticism. At the same time, we do not strive to create a "picture," it is important for us that people feel comfortable in the spaces we implement. Therefore, we first and foremost work on the architectural framework and layouts, and create brightness through concepts and decor.
master bedroom
On the cantilever floor, there are three bedrooms: the master and two children's rooms. One of the planning solutions that I actively use is buffer zones between bedrooms and bathrooms. Most often, this is an excellent option for integrating dressing rooms, storage areas (cantilever floor), or laundry rooms (first floor).
As for furniture and decor, in this aspect, we follow our principle of eclecticism - we mix furniture from different eras and contemporary European brands.
In this interior, we maintain a light color of the surfaces, balance it with dark wood panels in the living room and hall, as well as steps to the cantilever floor. We choose an effective black for the laundry room, which looks contrasting with the white guest bathroom.

Bright accents are created thanks to colored faucets in the bathrooms, and ceramic tiles, which we use both in traditional techniques: bathrooms, and not in standard ones: cladding the TV area and wardrobe doors in the hall.

Secondly, it was important for us to demonstrate the Russian accent of the design both conceptually and visually. One of the indisputable symbols of the interior of the Soviet era is the carpet, which was hung on the wall both for soundproofing and for decoration. We "hung" our own carpet made of ceramic tiles, which we lined the cabinet fronts in the hall with, making it the focal point of this area. I like it when the hall can be played up as an art gallery - pure space and a bright accent. By decorating the facades with the "Carpet" tiles, we turned a simple cabinet into a tsar-cabinet.
